OUR STORY
Nestled in the foothills of the Taygetos mountains and overlooking the lacy, blue shoreline of the Mediterranean Sea, lies Lazos olive grove, nurtured by the same family for generations.

Our olives are cared for naturally, without the use of pesticides, and only the mountain air, mediterranean sun and occasional roaming wild boar to keep them company. They are harvested by hand in the traditional way and quickly cold pressed to ensure maximum taste and nutritional value.
Our olives are hand-picked in the traditional way.
Our Olives
The trees, most of them hundreds of years old, are of the superior Koroneiki variety, producing olives which are high in polyphenols and anti-oxidants - known to possess a range of health benefits for your body and mind.

Our oil is premium extra virgin with a very low acidity content. Unlike many other oils, ours comes from a single grove and is not a blend of different oils, ensuring the highest quality is maintained from a trusted source.

Nearby, the village of Kardamilli, mentioned by Homer as one of the seven cities of Agamemnon and home to acclaimed writer Patrick Leigh Fermor, holds spectacular views to the Messenian Gulf - the same shoreline where Nikos Kazantzakakis met Alexis Zorba, inspiring him to write ‘Life and Times of Alex Zorba’, later to be adapted into Zorba the Greek.

Our Grove
Lazos Grove is situated in an area of the South Peloponnese called the Mani, renowned for the quality of the olive oil it produces.

About Us
Lazos Grove is brought to you by an English family, living in the UK, but with strong ties to the village and our friends there. We have seen the passion for the traditional Greek way of life, the importance of the olive trees and their harvest dream, and we are now in a position to share this passion with you. The oil is brought to the UK directly after harvest where it is bottled for you to enjoy.
